Roxane Peyser, Partner

Roxane graduated from The George Washington University with a B.A. in Middle Eastern Studies. She then attended the University of Houston Law Center where she earned her J.D. and later attended Georgia State University where she obtained her Master's in Political Science/International Political Economy. Roxane also studied Arabic at American University Beirut, American University Cairo, and Qasid Institute in Amman, Jordan.

 

Roxane has always been a business lawyer focused on commercial transactions, mergers & acquisitions, and regulatory compliance since the beginning of her career more than two decades ago. From senior legal in-house counsel for international and national bank holding companies to outside corporate counsel to general counsel for an environmental & engineering company, Roxane offers her clients extensive experience in business law merged with a robust practice in marijuana law that began more than 10 years ago and includes business licensing, legal and regulatory compliance, business formation, contracts, acquisitions, health and safety compliance, and product licensing.

 

Licensed in Colorado and Texas, and serving clients across the U.S. and internationally, Roxane's clientele value her fresh approach and depth of experience in shaping sound business strategies. She has also served as co-chair of ColoradoNORML, has been active in co-founding and supporting CSR groups (Corporate Social Responsibility) nationally and internationally, and promoting sustainability in her writings for various publications globally and domestically.

Michael Zomcik, Senior Attorney

Michael earned his B.A. in history from Gannon University where he excelled in debate, indulged in photography and participated in Pi Gamma Mu Honorary Society. Michael's debate skills served him well at the University of Houston Law Center where he was a John Black Moot Court semi-finalist, a member of Phi Delta Phi, and Clerk of Hutchinson Inn prior to obtaining his J.D. with honors.

 

Michael's expertise in complex commercial transactions and risk assessment is measured by more than two decades of successfully representing clients in the banking and investments, energy and manufacturing industries. He is also skilled in handling all aspects of arbitration and mediation and provides clients with value-added strategic consulting. Michael is licensed in Texas and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Texas Bar Association and the Houston Bar Association.

 

Michael's interests include traveling far and wide, photography, scuba diving and sailing.

Aaron Gray, Senior Attorney  

Aaron earned his J.D. from St. Thomas University, where he also obtained an M.B.A. in Sports Administration. Prior to that, Aaron attended the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he graduated with a B.A. in Business Management.

Aaron Gray is an attorney in Colorado and someone who loves all that the state has to offer. He enjoys skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing, hiking, and camping. Aaron is also a lacrosse coach, scuba diver and an avid sports enthusiast. A vast wealth of experiences suit him well, both in his work and in his personal life, and he is always up for a challenge. His passion for the law lies in helping people and finding innovative solutions for unique problems. 

 

Aaron focuses on business transactions and litigation. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association (Denver Chapter), the Sports Lawyers Association, and the Cannabis Law Committee.
